Grants of up to $250 for roundtrip transportation for local public schools and community organizations to make Red Rock Canyon NCA more accessible are available.
Friends partners with the BLM to offer twice annual artist-in-residence experiences that will contribute to the public understanding, appreciation, and stewardship of Red Rock Canyon NCA.
Periodic training and hiking experiences designed to help our visitors and their pets have safe and enjoyable visits in the desert are available.
Nine rescued Mojave desert tortoises call the Red Rock Canyon NCA visitor center home. This program supports their care and protects other
tortoises in the wild.
